Water leakage onto molten metal created a significant operational and occupational health and safety risk, with the potential for dangerous steam snap and spit incidents.

Without disrupting normal operations, the existing roof was cleaned, repaired, sealed and coated with the ThermaGuard HRC system to help restore roof integrity and long-term protection.

ThermaGuard HRC was selected to help improve the safety and comfort of staff at the South West Rocks Water Treatment Plant in New South Wales.

Maintaining low internal temperatures was important due to the chemicals used in the water treatment process, which perform best under controlled conditions. Reducing heat within the facility was also important for improving the working environment and comfort of staff.

Without disrupting normal operations, the existing roof was cleaned and coated with the ThermaGuard HRC system. The application was designed to help reduce roof heat transfer, support lower internal temperatures and contribute to a safer and more comfortable working environment for employees.

ThermaGuard HRC was selected to assist a family in Birkdale, Queensland, reduce household energy costs while improving the comfort and long-term protection of their home.

The family wanted to reduce the amount of heat entering the home during Queensland's hot summers, helping to lower electricity consumption for cooling while improving comfort for the occupants and reducing ongoing roof maintenance.

The existing roof was cleaned, prepared and coated with the ThermaGuard HRC system. The application was designed to help reduce roof heat transfer, lower the demand on mechanical cooling and provide long-term weather protection for the existing roof.
